The Comprehensive Clinical Development center in Atlanta is a well-equipped facility, providing examination rooms, limited-access medication storage (room temperature, refrigerated and -20°C), draw/processing laboratory with dedicated sample storage units (room temperature, refrigerated, -20°C and -70°C), ECG equipment, access to radiology facilities (X-ray, MRI, CT), emergency protocols (crash cart, local ER facilities) and high-speed Internet access to support Electronic Data Capture activities.

Patients and monitors will also benefit from the center’s convenient location (near Hartsfield-Jackson Airport and Atlanta’s major expressway system) and dedicated monitor space with Internet connectivity. The Comprehensive Atlanta site maintains staff affiliation with several local hospitals, as well as the local chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.

Research Experience

The CCD Atlanta team has conducted dozens of clinical trials across a range of psychiatric and medical conditions, including Schizophrenia, Depression, Bipolar disorder, Insomnia, Anxiety Disorders, Fibromyalgia, Pain, Osteoarthritis, Post-Herpetic Neuralgia, Sexual dysfunction, migrane, PMDD, obesity and Alzheimer’s Disease.

Principal Investigator

Dr. Bethany Davis

Dr. Davis is a board-certified Psychiatrist maintaining licensure in Georgia with clinical expertise in mood and anxiety disorders and research experience in all types of psychiatric studies.  She received her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed her Psychiatry residency at Emory University Hospital.  In addiition to her clinical trials work, Dr. Davis is a sought after regional expert in mood disorders in women.
